Za nami pierwszy Klub Pacjenta w Miasto Dąbrowa Górnicza. W spotkaniu organizowanym wspólnie z Uniwersytety Trzeciego Wieku Akademii WSB wzięło udział ponad 100 osób 
Uczestników spotkania powitali Bożena Borowiec – wiceprezydent Miasta Dąbrowy Górniczej oraz dr hab. Marcin Lis, profesor Akademia WSB – WSB University, prorektor ds. Studenckich i Współpracy z Otoczeniem. Patronat honorowy nad spotkaniem sprawował Marcin Bazylak – Prezydent Dąbrowy Górniczej
Pierwszy z wykładów poświęcony został miażdżycy. Informacje na temat tej choroby przekazywała Katarzyna Szymczyk – kardiolog Polsko-Amerykańskich Klinik Serca III Oddziału Kardiologii Inwazyjnej, Angiologii i Elektrokardiologii w Dąbrowie Górniczej, Grupa American Heart of Poland.
W agendzie spotkania nie mogło też zabraknąć cennych wskazówek na temat prawidłowego żywienia. Praktycznymi poradami w tym zakresie podzieliła się Alicja Widera, dietetyk Grupy American Heart of Poland, zachęcając do tego, by jeść kolorowo i wprowadzać do diety jak najwięcej warzyw i owoców 
Podsumowaniem spotkania był wykład Małgorzaty Doros,
Tradycyjnie już na “klubowiczów” czekała także możliwość skorzystania z bezpłatnych badań oraz indywidualnych rozmów ze specjalistami z zakresu kardiologii i dietetyki. Swoje stoisko dla uczestników przygotował też Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia 
Dziękujemy wszystkim uczestnikom za spotkanie i przypominamy, że już pojutrze – 
lutego – widzimy się w Katowice – oficjalny profil miasta
